Low-cost vision code reader with a 1.3 MP resolution

SensoPart is expanding its high-end code reader family VISOR® V20 with a high-performance model for standard applications. The new VISOR® V20 Standard rounds off SensoPart’s portfolio of vision sensors with code reading functions. Until now a high image resolution of 1280 x 1024 pixels only came with the Advanced or Professional series, which include additional functions such as OCR and object detection. However, those who do not require these extra features can now also benefit from enhanced performance with the economical standard version. The compact sensor reads all common 1 D barcodes and 2D data matrix codes. Typical applications involve identification of directly marked components in the machine construction sector and in the automotive and plastics industry.

A new generation miniature color sensor

Gottenheim, November 2016 – Enhanced colour detection, greater depth of focus! SensoPart has considerably expanded the setting options of its compact FT 25-C colour sensor.
SensoPart’s proven colour sensor in miniature housing is today available in a revised format with improved colour detection functions. The FT 25-C is now equipped with a range of functions similar to those of much larger colour sensors, enabling greater flexibility when adapting to different applications. The most important sectors of use are the detection of colours / register marks, label detection in packaging and labelling machines, and lid control in bottling plants. Here the sensor is able to differentiate between even the slightest nuances in colour.

VISOR® Multishot renders even the smallest height differences visible

Gottenheim, September 2016 – Thanks to an innovative lighting technology, vision sensors can now reliably detect and evaluate raised or recessed structures. Raised or recessed object details – such as embossed digits and characters on a credit card – are difficult to detect with standard image processing methods. Even use of lateral lighting generally results in poorly identifiable contours due to overexposure and shadows. SensoPart has remedied this situation by equipping its VISOR® series of vision sensors with the new multishot function.

BlueLight opens up new angles of vision

Gottenheim, September 2016 – Proximity sensors for the reliable detection of dark and transparent objects.
SensoPart’s blue light technology offers greater detection efficiency than conventional red light proximity sensors in a great many applications, particularly those involving dark or transparent objects. This is why SensoPart is now expanding its relevant product portfolio: blue light proximity sensors have been launched in miniature and compact versions to join the established subminiature model F 10 BlueLight. Scanning ranges of up to 1200 mm can now be covered thanks to the new F25 and F55 BlueLight sensors.

FR 55-TOF - Reliable measurement of long distances: time-of-flight sensors with 70 m range

Gottenheim, June 2016 – SensoPart’s F 55 sensor family has welcomed a new addition: the compact FR 55 distance sensors with time-of-flight technology offer a scanning range of up to 70 m - the best in their performance class - along with a high level of repeatability, and they only require a standard reflector. Thanks to two switching outputs and an optional additional analogue output, they open up extensive application possibilities, such as collision protection for conveyor shuttles or use in the positioning of high bay stackers in warehouses.
