Our  VISOR® trainings at a glance

VISOR® Basic

VISOR® Basic

Image processing basics with the VISOR® vision sensor

Learn the fundamentals of image processing. In addition to an introduction to the general physical principles of optics and lighting, you will learn the most important details about our VISOR® vision sensor. You will learn how to approach image processing tasks in a targeted manner, how to put vision sensors into operation and how to configure applications in selected exercises. You will also learn about the device's communication options with higher-level interfaces.

  • Target group: Integrators and maintenance workers with or without machine vision knowledge.
  • Products used: VISOR® vision sensor
  • Previous knowledge: Working with a pc
  • Minimum number of participants: 2 persons
VISOR® Inspection

VISOR® Inspection

Detecting and checking objects with the VISOR® Object (Color)

This training is about solving image processing applications in the field of object recognition. You will learn how to calibrate the system to metric units and learn the most important functions from the contrast detector to the caliper gauge and the geometric area detector. In addition, this training takes up the topic of "color". In addition, you will gain an insight into the possible processing of results directly on the device and learn about communication at fieldbus level such as Profinet. The image archiving functions of the VISOR® are also part of the training.

  • Target group: Integrators and maintenance staff with machine vision knowledge (e.g. by taking part in a VISOR® Basic training course).
  • Products used: VISOR® Object
  • Previous knowledge: Handling a PC, image processing knowledge or VISOR® Basic training
  • Minimum number of participants: 2 people
VISOR® Identification

VISOR® Identification

Identify parts with the VISOR® Code Reader

Do you need to identify a component using a code or an inscription? In addition to the basics of common 1D and 2D codes, it is about the process-reliable reading of directly marked codes and the reliable interpretation of the quality parameters. How do I solve a code reader application in a process-reliable manner? After this training you will know the answers. Reading plain text is also discussed and practiced, as is processing the results of strings.

  • Target group: Integrators and maintenance staff with machine vision knowledge (e.g. through completed VISOR® Basic training).
  • Previous knowledge: Handling a PC, image processing knowledge or VISOR® Basic training
  • Products used: VISOR® Code Reader
  • Minimum number of participants: 2 people
VISOR® Positioning

VISOR® Positioning

Determine positions with the VISOR® Robotic

Do you need to bring a robot application to life? We explain the steps required to go from image acquisition to robot movement. The hands-on training covers not only the setup of the SensoPart components, but also the calibration to transfer the camera coordinate system to that of the robot. Participants also learn about robot-specific software functions that simplify integration. Communication with robots via a standard interface and the use of function blocks in libraries are covered in detail during the course. Specific examples of robot applications round off the training.

  • Target group: Integrators and maintenance staff with machine vision knowledge (e.g. through completed VISOR® Basic training).
  • Previous knowledge: Handling a PC, image processing knowledge or VISOR® Basic training
  • Products used: VISOR® Robotic
  • Minimum number of participants: 2 people
