A guaranteed clear view.
The reflective light barrier FR 25-RGO detects transparent objects.

Transparent objects present sensors with special challenges, because the low absorption rates require a very high switching sensitivity. The new FR 25-RGO reflective light barrier from SensoPart was specifically designed to meet these requirements: With its precise control behavior, it allows a reliable detection of randomly shaped transparent industrial objects such as glass bottles, flat glass, medicine vials, PET bottles, labels or blisters.

DELTA-function for the maximum switching reliability

Also in varying environmental conditions, e.g. due to gradual contamination or misalignment due to vibration, the light sensor always maintains a clear view. Because the integrated "DELTA" function (Dynamic Evaluation of Light for Threshold Adaption) dynamically adjusts the switching threshold depending on the amount of light reflected, thus ensuring the reliable operation of the sensor under all conditions.

Reliable detection starting from a range of 0 mm

The reflective light barrier which works according to the autocollimator principle detects objects starting from a distance of just 0 mm because the transmission and reception axis are aligned - thus eliminating the blind zone. The F 25 reflective light barrier, as the newest member of SensoPart sensor family, also offers all of these series-characteristic advantages - from the excellent optical performance to the extremely robust construction and good workmanship all the way up to the simple, user-friendly dovetail assisted mounting and precision alignment functionality.

Typical application scenarios for the new reflective light barrier include

  • the checking for the presence of bottles and vials made of glass or PET in labeling machines which are used in the beverage or pharmaceutical industry,
  • bottle congestion
  • checking in the beverage industry, foil rupture
  • checking in labeling machines, plate glass
  • recognition in the solar cell manufacturing as well as
  • the blister recognition in the packaging and pharmaceutical industry
