The people behind SensoPart
Ever wondered what makes SensoPart a great place to work? Maybe our colleagues have the answers you've been seeking!
We believe that a company's true strength lies in the people who drive its success, and we're dedicated to introducing you to the individuals behind SensoPart. We've asked our team four key questions about their daily work, motivations, and the unique work atmosphere at SensoPart.
Let's get to know Laurence better as she answers these four questions:
How does a typical day at SensoPart look like for you?
I often say that – aside from Benjamin – my bosses are the customers!
That’s how it is every day; they’re the ones who shape my workday.
Since we’re still a small team at SensoPart France, my tasks are very varied: handling orders, quotes, banking, repairs, and HR duties. I’m never bored!
And I’ve been doing this for 26 years!
I chose to become a Sales Assistant because…
... people have always been at the heart of my work. What convinced me to join SensoPart in 2000 was not only the opportunity to develop the Paris office, but also the warm and human atmosphere I experienced during my interview. More than 25 years later, the people and friendships I've found at SensoPart are still one of the reasons I love what I do.
The best part of being part of the SensoPart team?
What still motivates me today is belonging to a company where human values matter.
At the same time, seeing the French subsidiary evolve and grow is a rewarding experience. In the 2000s, there were only two of us, and today there are twelve – quite an evolution.
I enjoy interacting with clients and doing my utmost to ensure their satisfaction.
What helps you recharge after a busy week?
I volunteer as a cashier at our local cinema, so I work shifts there several times a week.
Our cinema helped launch a "Cinema" program at the Munster high school – a program that draws boarding students from all over France. To round out their training, we accompany them to the Cannes Film Festival for a week. It’s a week suspended in time, a world of its own!
I love reading; it recharges me. Knitting and crochet are among my hobbies, too as are jigsaw puzzles. The more complex, the better – especially the Jan Van Haasteren ones!
