Photoelectric retro-reflective sensors from SensoPart enable simple object detection in automated production environments. When combined with a reflector, the light barriers deliver precise results even with challenging objects such as shiny, black, or transparent materials. Optimize your production facilities with photoelectric retro-reflective sensors from SensoPart

The proven technology of our sensors makes them especially easy to install: The emitter and receiver are enclosed in a compact housing, and the light is reflected back via an additional reflector. This allows the safety your light barrier provides to be integrated into a wide variety of applications with no need for fine adjustments during installation.

Our photoelectric retro-reflective sensors are ideally suited for challenging applications and reliably detect even objects with shiny, dark, or transparent surfaces. For maximum flexibility, our light barriers also feature various adjustment options – from potentiometers and teach-in to external control lines. For non-critical objects, they can even be used without any application-specific adjustments.  In addition, special autocollimation devices are available which, thanks to their design and special functions such as automatic background tracking (DELTA function), enable particularly reliable transparency detection and operation without a blind zone. 
 

Light barriers with IO-Link mode can be integrated effortlessly into existing systems and put into operation with little effort. Thanks to a selection of various different light sources – including laser, LED, and infrared – our light barriers can be optimally adapted to different applications and ambient conditions.

Perhaps a photoelectric retro-reflective sensor is actually not the best choice for your application. Optical color sensors detect colors and materials, even on challenging surfaces, providing valuable assistance in sorting packaging or when checking different labels. Depending on the sensor, the range is between 32 and 150 mm.
