Compensating AGV Docking Tolerances in Electronics Assembly with VISOR®
In electronics assembly, even small position deviations can affect process reliability. AGVs may dock with slight tolerances, transport boxes are not always placed in the exact same position, and PCBs can shift within the load carrier.
This demo shows how VISOR® machine vision helps the robot compensate for these variations. Using Target Mark 3D, Contour 3D and VISOR® XE, the system determines the robot position, detects the transport box, measures the PCB position relative to the gripper and enables precise PCB placement.
The result: flexible, vision-guided automation for reliable PCB handling in electronics manufacturing.
Featuring automation technologies from MIR, Teradyne, Kassow Robots, Universal Robots and Schmalz.
