How can assembly processes be automated while improving quality and productivity? In this application, RIBE Automation uses two VISOR® Vision Sensors from SensoPart to support the automated assembly of electrical fittings for the high-voltage industry. The VISOR® Robotic detects the exact position and orientation of the frame components, enabling precise robotic picking and placement. A second vision sensor monitors the feeding process of the joint arms and ensures that incorrect or improperly positioned parts are detected and rejected before assembly. The combination of robotics and machine vision increases process reliability, ensures consistent quality, and significantly improves productivity.
