After food is packed, QR codes are to be read on the packaging to check the legibility of the code and to read the content.
The aim of the application is to read a code on food packaging.
The difficulty here is that plastic film can have kinks and be very reflective.

Our solution
The VISOR® can read common codes such as GS1, ECC200, QR or PDF417 and transfer the contents to the control system via Ethernet/IP or Profinet. The image is also enhanced through software filters.
