BlueLight opens up new angles of vision

Gottenheim, September 2016 – Proximity sensors for the reliable detection of dark and transparent objects.
SensoPart’s blue light technology offers greater detection efficiency than conventional red light proximity sensors in a great many applications, particularly those involving dark or transparent objects. This is why SensoPart is now expanding its relevant product portfolio: blue light proximity sensors have been launched in miniature and compact versions to join the established subminiature model F 10 BlueLight. Scanning ranges of up to 1200 mm can now be covered thanks to the new F25 and F55 BlueLight sensors.

VISOR® - SensoWeb : web monitoring of vision sensors

SensoPart’s VISOR® range of vision sensors is now equipped as standard with an integrated web interface. The so-called “SensoWeb” function enables comfortable monitoring of running sensors without the need to install any specific software.

FR 55-TOF - Reliable measurement of long distances: time-of-flight sensors with 70 m range

Gottenheim, June 2016 – SensoPart’s F 55 sensor family has welcomed a new addition: the compact FR 55 distance sensors with time-of-flight technology offer a scanning range of up to 70 m - the best in their performance class - along with a high level of repeatability, and they only require a standard reflector. Thanks to two switching outputs and an optional additional analogue output, they open up extensive application possibilities, such as collision protection for conveyor shuttles or use in the positioning of high bay stackers in warehouses.

VISOR® - Metric world and robot coordinates at a mouse click

Gottenheim, May 2016 – Sensor manufacturer SensoPart Industriesensorik extends the functional scope of its VISOR® series of vision sensors to include new, comfortable calibration functions: positions and distances in the sensor image can now be easily converted into relative world coordinates or absolute robot coordinates. Distortions resulting from diagonal view angles and other image errors are simultaneously corrected. These new functions are now immediately available in a free software upgrade.

Vision sensor with face up/face down recognition

The VISOR® vision sensor from SensoPart Industriesensorik has now extended itsexisting range of evaluation methods to include the so-called BLOB function, which enables the simultaneous detection of essential characteristics on several objects – e.g. position, orientation, surface, circumference and eccentricity. The BLOB function is available on both the monochrome and colour versions of VISOR®.

Blue light photoelectric switch opens up many new applications

When detecting dark or transparent objects, SensoPart's subminiature photoelectric switch with blue LED emitter, F 10 Bluelight, offers more reliable detection than standard red light sensors. The blue light sensor has proved to be an economic alternative to conventional red light photoelectric switches, for example in the solar industry (wafers), packaging industry, in laboratory automation or in special purpose machine construction.

Light barrier without reflector

SensoPart adds a new model to its extensive family of F 25 miniature sensors: the new photoelectric sensor with foreground suppression offers the same process reliability as a retro-reflective light barrier, but without the need for a reflector. The integrated scanning zone function enables precise adjustment of the detection area so that unwanted objects are suppressed.

FT 25-RGB Contrast sensors

The time is right for a new format
Edale opts for the miniature contrast sensor FT 25-RGB from SensoPart

Speed and accurate differentiation of even the lowest contrasts are essential for detection of printing marks on continuous material. Edale, the leading UK manufacturer of flexo printing presses, amongst other machinery, found that SensoPart's miniature contrast sensor fulfilled both requirements when it came to replacing the standard sensors it previously used, saving not just space but also halving the costs.
