VISOR® – the one with a BLOB

Vision sensor with face up/face down recognition

The VISOR® vision sensor from SensoPart Industriesensorik has now extended itsexisting range of evaluation methods to include the so-called BLOB function, which enables the simultaneous detection of essential characteristics on several objects – e.g. position, orientation, surface, circumference and eccentricity. The BLOB function is available on both the monochrome and colour versions of VISOR®.

Blue light photoelectric switch opens up many new applications

When detecting dark or transparent objects, SensoPart's subminiature photoelectric switch with blue LED emitter, F 10 Bluelight, offers more reliable detection than standard red light sensors. The blue light sensor has proved to be an economic alternative to conventional red light photoelectric switches, for example in the solar industry (wafers), packaging industry, in laboratory automation or in special purpose machine construction.

Light barrier without reflector

SensoPart adds a new model to its extensive family of F 25 miniature sensors: the new photoelectric sensor with foreground suppression offers the same process reliability as a retro-reflective light barrier, but without the need for a reflector. The integrated scanning zone function enables precise adjustment of the detection area so that unwanted objects are suppressed.

FT 25-RGB Contrast sensors

The time is right for a new format
Edale opts for the miniature contrast sensor FT 25-RGB from SensoPart

Speed and accurate differentiation of even the lowest contrasts are essential for detection of printing marks on continuous material. Edale, the leading UK manufacturer of flexo printing presses, amongst other machinery, found that SensoPart's miniature contrast sensor fulfilled both requirements when it came to replacing the standard sensors it previously used, saving not just space but also halving the costs.

Blue light sensor in the packaging industry

Transnova RUF employs subminiature sensor with blue light LED

Photoelectric proximity switches are required in a packaging line for plastic bottles to check that the grippers have acutally picked up bottles. As there is only limited space for installation close to the gripper, the application demands extremely small sensors, able to provide relaible, reproducable results despite a difficult detection angle. A subminiature sensor from SensoPart F 10 range, with a blue LED emitter, has proven to be by far the most reliable solution.

SensoPart Industriesensorik still looks ahead - even after 20 years

The SME manufacturer of sensors and intelligent camera systems for factory automation celebrates its 20 year jubilee. SensoPart Industriesensorik GmbH was founded in 1994 following the takeover of the insolvent company Schlüter Fotosensorik in Wieden (Todtnau) in the southern Black Forest. The family-run SME has since specialised in the development, manufacture and sale of optoelectronic sensors and vision systems for automation technology.

F 55 Time-of-Flight sensors with a 5 m range

A far-sighted solution from SensoPart:
Compact time of flight sensors with a 5 m range

SensoPart has added two new sensors to its F 55 compact range: they use time of flight measurement to reliably detect or measure objects of any colour and surface characteristic at a distance of up to 5 metres. The class 1 laser sensors are available with either a digital or analogue ouptut and are much smaller than most distance sensors of the same performance category.

Vision sensor now with calliper function

Sensor manufacturer SensoPart Industriesensorik has extended its existing range of VISOR® vision sensors with the addition of a new calliper function. The latest algorithms enable the detection of distances, widths and lengths as well as outer and inner diameters with subpixel accuracy. The calliper function is available in both the monochrome and colour versions of VISOR® V20 with a 1.3 megapixel resolution.
